Success in the Arts, Inc. producers of the stage plays A Raisin in the Sun, The Amen Corner, Dream-girls musical, The Romance Why Me?? and the SITA (Success in the Arts) Awards Ceremony and seminars is seeking sharp, highly motivated skilled and publicity driven internships for their Entertainment business. You must be a team player and work in cooperation with the production team. You must have at least 6 months to a year or more marketing and/or public relations experience. The internship will begin on June 5, 2023 and will end on October.5, 2023. The weekly time commitment is 3-4 days, 4 hours a day. This internship is 70% Remote and 30% in office.
The ideal applicant:
Must be enrolled in a University, and seeking credit or have graduated already,
Will have excellent project and time management skills.
Is reliable and committed to the position for the 3-4 months
Attend industry events
Will participate in media outreach
Generate weekly status reports
Follow up with associates and entertainment insiders
Have good work ethics and a passion for the craft
Be able to write press releases
Is an owner of a Laptop/ I Pad or computer
Has knowledge of Power Point, Microsoft
Is familiar with social networking tools. Ex. Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Linked In, etc..
Salary: This is an Unpaid internship. However with great work ethics can be beneficial at the end of the internship.
