StyleCaster: Entertainment Writer
SHE Media is hiring an Entertainment Writer to join StyleCaster's editorial team. The ideal candidate should be passionate about a wide range of entertainment content, including TV, movies, music and celebrity news. The Entertainment Writer should be traffic-minded and have excellent news judgment, the ability to write clean and fast copy, and knowledge of SEO/AEO best practices. The Entertainment Writer will report to the Entertainment Director and is expected to pitch and write 5 - 7 articles per day.
As PMC values in-person collaboration and team cohesion, employees work onsite 4 days a week and 1 day remotely with a focus on maintaining a vibrant and inclusive culture. The Entertainment Writer can be based in either our Midtown Manhattan offices or our West Los Angeles headquarters.
The Fine Print:
- A clean, fast writer who can complete 5 - 7 stories each day (typically 350-800 words).
- A passion for celebrity news, entertainment and pop culture, covering everything from celebrity relationships to the British royal family, to reality TV dating shows and historical biopics.
- Well-versed in digital strategy, analytics, SEO/AEO, and service and evergreen angles.
- E-commerce experience (especially within streaming and concert/show ticket sales) is a plus.
- Comfort occasionally interviewing and interacting with celebrity talent for on-site and video content.
- You’ll be expected to occasionally attend award shows/press junkets/entertainment media and work with the social media team to capture engaging footage.
At PMC, we believe working in a highly collaborative, office-first environment fosters real-time communication, spontaneous idea sharing, and stronger interpersonal relationships that drive innovation and team cohesion. PMC prioritizes in-person collaboration and does not offer remote-only roles.
