Production Manager - Swing Shift
Production Manager will lead the bi-coastal team in the production of daily topicals for multiple shows. Directly manages Assistant Editors, Associate Producers, Production Coordinators and Production Assistants. Works directly with Creative Directors, Editors, Graphic Artists and Audio Mixers to optimize and prioritize daily demands. Schedules the Graphic, Audio & Online Departments and oversees Quality Control on deliverables.
Reporting to the Executive in Charge of Production, serves as the second in command for all projects and steps in to cover duties as needed during vacation and sick time.
Qualifications:
- 3 years at a marketing agency or network/studio/platform
- Communicates effectively with staff
- Self-starter, Independent thinker and able to work with minimal supervision
- Willing to work long hours including weekends as required
- Experience with Avid Media Composer, NEXIS, XDCAM tape-based and digital workflows
- Knowledge of various codecs and digital formats
- Knowledge of Quality Assurance best practices
- Familiar with broadcast standards, legal, clearances and copyright
