Responsibilities:
Coordinates employee onboarding procedures, including but not limited to, drafting offer letters, initiating online onboarding, scheduling and conducting new hire orientations, completing I-9s, completing new hire profiles in ADP, background screening, and fielding new hire's questions
Coordinates employee offboarding procedures for terminations, including but not limited to, initiating termination procedures and paperwork, scheduling and conducting exit interviews for voluntary terminations, processing termination in ADP, as well as all other backend termination steps
Tracks employment end dates for temporary staff and follows up with hiring managers accordingly
Maintains and updates all union and nonunion new hire and termination records in ADP; as necessary
Maintains and updates onboarding and offboarding materials
Maintains accurate I9 compliance
Fields employee inquiries to the HR inbox as well as over the phone
Updates and maintains org charts
Provides recruitment assistance as needed, such as reviewing resumes and scheduling interviews
Coordinates and schedules employee training and professional development courses
Maintains several employee databases and assists with departmental file maintenance
Assists with ad hoc reports and projects as needed
Completes and submits responses to EDD claims
Prepares rate increase and promotion letters and processes the change accordingly in ADP
Processes Verifications of Employment
Other duties as assigned
Required Skills:
1-2 years of proven experience as an HR Coordinator
General knowledge of the principles and practices of Human Resources administration and the general operations of the Company
Strong problem solving and multitasking skills
Meticulous attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Creative and flexible work ethic
Proven abilities to work well with a team as well as function individually using sound judgment
Ability to follow direction in a fast-paced entertainment environment
Works well under pressure and meets tight deadlines
Strong ability in using MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
Experience with HR databases and HRIS systems
Position requires professional responsibility and the highest degree of discretion
Qualifications:
Education:
High School education or equivalent required.
BA/BS in applicable field preferred.
