Entertainment Public Relations firm is seeking an Assistant Accountant Executive to support the President of the company in our Talent Department. Candidate must have a passion for PR and prior Entertainment Assistant experience.
Responsibilities will include:
- Provide administrative support to President and support to the Talent Department
- Take notes during meetings
- Pitch clients for press and event opportunities
- Research industry news
- Assist with client coverage on carpets, photo shoots, monitoring interviews, etc.
- Research new business and industry trends
- Identify new business opportunities
- Sign new business
- Have the ability to take over in a leadership capacity when President is not available
Qualifications/Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree
- Minimum 3-4 years of entertainment public relations experience
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings
- Highly organized and extremely detail-oriented
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, Adobe, and Google Docs
- Passion for entertainment/pop culture
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
