Our candidate will possess the ability to handle multiple tasks and projects with tight deadlines in a dynamic environment, and have a real passion for details. • Prioritizing and organizing emails, keeping the team apprised of ongoing items
• Tracking spending and inputting receipts into QuickBooks
• Filing and general office organization
• Ordering supplies and running local errands
• Arranging complex domestic and international travel plans, itineraries, and agendas, with back-up options, and compiling documents for travel-related meetings
• Working closely and effectively with the CEO to keep her well informed of upcoming commitments and responsibilities, providing consistent followup so she stays on task
• Drafting correspondences for internal and external communications
• Managing ad-hoc projects with enthusiasm
Skills we're looking for:
• Previous C-level management experience
• Strong preference for tech industry or startup experience
• Someone who is ''tech savvy'' with a strong proficiency in and thorough knowledge of Outlook, CRM's, Project management tools, and Google drive
• Excellent writing, editing, grammatical, organizational, and research skills
Additional experience & skills that would set you apart from the competition:
• Understanding of social media
• Sales, marketing, e-commerce, tech, and/or PR experience a definite plus
• Bonus points if you're familiar with Jira, Salesforce, Slack, Quickbooks, and/or additional business software suites
We pride ourselves on our company culture. Our office is more creative than corporate. Our diverse team of industry professionals help create a positive, collaborative environment, and we prize getting feedback from all of our teammates. Your opinion will be heard and the opportunity for upward mobility is possible, so we're looking for a very entrepreneurial and driven individual to own this role.
This is a full time, independent-contractor position (to start) beginning immediately. Candidates should submit a resume, cover letter, and references for consideration. Salary: $1000 per week to begin - based on experience - with room to grow. Storyblaster is an equal-opportunity employer.
