Storyblaster is looking for an experienced, well-spoken, personable, forward- thinking, and highly organized individual to assist in the running of our Executive Producer's office based in Hollywood, CA.
This position is ideal for an assistant with a highly organized mind and experience in various aspects of production coordination and office administration.
Must be calm, easygoing, and efficient, with a good sense of humor, as well as honest, hardworking, and possessing a can-do spirit. If you have worked as a coordinator, a producer, on a busy agency desk, or in series production, you could be a good fit!
Candidates should be five steps ahead of the task at hand, while calmly managing the minute-to-minute. S/he should be able to work independently, as well as take direction from the boss, while assisting with a variety of tasks.
Job Responsibilities:
The tasks will vary daily and will include:
• Creating and managing daily and weekly schedules for the EP and team.
• Arranging meetings and coordinating tasks, timelines, and deadlines.
• Tracking spending/inputting receipts into QuickBooks
• Booking travel and managing itineraries
• Filing and general office organization
• Ordering supplies and running local errands

Requirements:
• 1-2 years of production experience for web or TV, coordinating shoots and/or experience managing high-end, high-pressure projects.
• Exceptional telephone/email skills and an ability to build rapport with new contacts.
• Articulate, with a calm manner.
• Excellent writing and editing skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and database/CRM software.
• Sales, marketing, e-commerce, and/or PR experience a definite plus.
• Experience and background within the visual arts, entertainment, tech, social media, advertising, marketing, and/or PR fields are definitely welcome!

Please note that we work out of an office in Studio City as well as out of a home office in Hollywood. We have two dogs, so the ideal candidate is comfortable being around dogs.
This is a full time, independent-contractor position (to start) beginning immediately. Candidates should submit a resume, cover letter, and references for consideration.
Salary: $700 per week to begin -- based on experience-- with room to grow.
