EVENT COORDINATOR OPENING | LOS ANGELES OFFICE
We are currently seeking one (1) Full-time Event Coordinator for the planning and implementation of Stoelt Productions' events. This is a entry / mid-entry level position. The Event Coordinator will be responsible and/or assist in on-premise execution, client services, prepare visual decks and mood boards, source decor and premiums, hire and train supplemental staff, advance shows, procure and manage vendors, and oversee event set-up & strike.
The Event Coordinator must take ownership of a project and be at point leading a team of event professionals in pre-event conceptualization, overall event execution, and post-event reporting.
Previous agency experience and on-premise event execution is required.
Ideal candidates must possess and have a knowledge for event design and production. Creative brainstorming and contributions are essential to succeeding in this position. You must also be deadline driven, hands-on, team oriented, proactive, and a self-starter.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ Prepare client materials, visual decks, and mood boards
+ Source venues, decor and premiums
+ Hire and train interns and supplemental staff
+ Advance shows / talent requirements
+ Track and manage budgets
+ Liason with venues and client requests
+ Procure & manage vendors
+ Oversee event set-up & strike
+ Assist in studio maintenance and logistics
+ Fulfill and oversee administrative duties: organize company database, compile contacts list
+ Process and create Event Production Manuals
REQUIREMENTS:
+ Background in experiential marketing, entertainment, and fashion event production
+ Ability to think quickly, solve problems effectively and efficiently. Ability to handle multiple tasks
+ Excellent interpersonal communication skills. Effective business correspondence skills both written and verbal
+ Proficiency in MAC applications and the ability to create extensive excel spreadsheets, proposals and mockups. Applications essential to our company include: Keynote, Pages, Excel, Word, Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop
+ Strong attention to detail and deadlines
+ Personal appearance and hygiene must be well kept and presentable
+ Proven ability to lead, motivate, manage, and train others
