Summer Intern - Podcast Video Editing

This is a Part Time Unpaid Internship

Internship Start Date/Season: July 1st, 2026/Summer
Internship Duration: 2-3 months
Time/Days Required: 10hrs/week
Workplace Requirements: hybrid

Responsibilities

* Edit 10-15 podcast episodes from 30-45 minutes of raw 4K footage into polished 20-minute episodes

* Create engaging cuts optimized for YouTube and digital platforms

* Assist with basic organization of footage and project files

* Incorporate feedback and revisions throughout the editing process

* Help identify compelling moments that can be repurposed into short-form social media clips


Requirements

* Current student in Film, Media, Communications, or a related field

* Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve

* Access to your own editing equipment and software

* Strong attention to detail and storytelling instincts

* Ability to work independently and meet deadlines


Time Commitment

* Approximately 5-10 hours per week

* Flexible schedule

* Hybrid (Primarily remote position- will require occasional commute to Hollywood to receive and review footage)
