Stampede is an Entertainment Marketing company that specializes in Creative Marketing Content and Post-Production Finishing. We are looking for a Manager of Human Resources to join our amazing team. This is an onsite position servicing our Hollywood and Studio City locations. We are a collaborative and hard-working group that is dedicated to creating and finishing high quality digital content that is exciting and immersive across multiple platforms
Responsibilities; including but not limited to:
1. Coach and inspire management to effectively lead, manage, and develop their teams offering feedback and advice on any issues that may arise.
2. Work to resolve employee and organizational issues, providing coaching to employees and leaders in a proactive and compassionate manner.
3. Create an environment of positive employee relations by respecting confidentiality, establishing trust and credibility, and being seen by employees as approachable and fair.
4. Manage employee relations issues with other employees and management
5. Work with managers to focus retention of internal staff and external freelance talents
6. Lead the company's annual performance review processes
7. Manage scheduling employee and freelance vacations & PTO to ensure there is coverage to meet our clients needs
8. Maintain our employee handbook, policies & procedures, and scheduling employee training
9. Build effective, productive, and positive working relationships with employees at all levels
10. Help leaders understand what helps build and reinforce a collaborative culture and team building working environment
11. Help create a high-quality employee working experience with open communication and engagement
12. Lead hiring and recruiting processes of new employees
13. Conduct reference checks and background checks
14. Manage the on-boarding and off-boarding of employees
15. Maintain employee records and files
16. Collaborate with any outside HR services that might be needed to support the team
17. Plan monthly employee social events and holiday gatherings
