Responsibilities
Job Purpose:
NBCUniversal's Stamford Media Center is seeking a Booth Production Assistant. This is a project/limited term position with an estimated duration of 8 months, unless otherwise amended or terminated as deliverables within this project are completed. This position will work on multiple productions with different Producers and Directors. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
Essential Responsibilities:
• Act as liaison between Producers and Director to acquire, organize, and prepare all pre-production elements.
• Assist the Executive Producer, Directing team and Chyron Operator with building all show elements.
• Assist the Assistant Director in building still store and generate still store list.
• Distribute seating chart to production team.
• Record any legal concerns during show taping that require follow up.
• Manage all aspects of Tape Library â€''tape stock, dub requests, tape labels, pulling tapes for producers.
• Generate Music Cue Sheets and distribute quarterly.
• Screen every show that airs on weekly basis for music usage and give a way's.
• Prepare screening memo to distribute to Production Manager, Controller and Legal.
• General control room duties
Qualifications/Requirements
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree, preferred
• 1-year media experience in a post-production and or control room environment preferred
