TRAVEL: Yes (extensively when on tour)
EDUCATION LEVEL: College degree preferred but not required
PRIOR EXPERIENCE: 3+
PAY RANGE: $75K + PTO

JOB DESCRIPTION: We are currently seeking two Jack of all trades/personal assistants for a recording artist in the LA area. The PA's should have at least three years of full-time experience working in the music industry, preferably with an artist. Duties and responsibilities include but aren't limited to:

Scheduling day-to-day activities and managing calendars
Accompanying artist at recording sessions
On call 24/7 (yes, nights and weekends too)
Tactful gatekeeper and diplomat
Must be discreet and confidential
Liaison: agents, road managers, publicity reps, lawyers, stylists, etc.
Experience with red carpet events and award shows a very big plus
Must have a valid passport and ability to travel on a moment's notice

We can't emphasize enough that the assistant must have very, very thick skin. You will constantly be under a great deal of pressure and it's very long hours when traveling on tour. Don't forget, this is the music business, so the personal assistant will need to keep up with the break-neck pace of those around them.

Absolute discretion is a must because the PA will be working side by side with the recording artist and his celebrity friends. You will be asked to sign an NDA.
