Social Media Coordinator (Part-Time, Seasonal)
Job Summary:
This is an on-site, part-time seasonal position beginning during Spring Training (February/March) and will run through the end of the 2026 season (September/October).
The Social Media Coordinator provides social media coverage across all club platforms, including X/Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and LinkedIn. This position will assist the Social Media staff with pre-game preparation (graphics, in-stadium coverage of ballpark and pre-game events), live in-game coverage of the team, and post-game content during home games (in-person at Busch Stadium) and road games (remotely) throughout the 2026 season. The ideal candidate will have experience managing and creating content for live sports entertainment social media accounts, a deep understanding of the game of baseball, and excellent copy-writing skills.
Job Duties:
• Assist with capturing, editing, and posting accurate, engaging content across the club's social media platforms on gamedays to inform and engage fans and showcase the action on and off the field at Busch Stadium.
• Provide live, in-game coverage of games across all club social media platforms.
• Participate in planning and execution of team's social media content calendar and monitor social media and pop culture to provide fresh content ideas.
• Work collaboratively with the Social Media, Marketing, and Production Departments to support organizational and sales initiatives.
• Assist internal secondary account holders with planning and posting content to their accounts.
• Assist with tagging and archiving of social media posts for analysis and reporting.
• Collaborate with corporate partnerships and MLB partnership teams to activate social media sponsorships.
Experience/Education Required:
• Demonstrated experience creating and optimizing content for a variety of social media platforms, including but not limited to X/Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and LinkedIn.
• Experience capturing video and still content using a phone and DSLR camera.
• Experience using the Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Premiere, Lightroom) to edit and produce social media content, edit graphics, and produce videos.
• Accurate and creative copywriting skills with a deep understanding of the game of baseball.
• Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays throughout the 2026 baseball season.
• Ability to work quickly and accurately in a fast-paced live entertainment environment.
• Understanding of the legacy and history in the game of baseball and city of St. Louis.
