Headquartered in Los Angeles, SPOTLIGHT CINEMA NETWORKS is the cinema advertising leader in reaching the 21+ adult demographic through its nationwide network of arthouses and luxury theatres. SPOTLIGHT recently launched a new division, CINELIFE ENTERTAINMENT, to distribute event cinema and alternative content for theatrical release in the U.S., and is hiring a Theatrical Distribution Project Manager to help support and execute CINELIFE ENTERTAINMENT theatrical releases. This position is a primary contact for content owners and works cross-functionally with SPOTLIGHT's exhibitor relations, operations, marketing, and sales departments.
Responsibilities:
• Key point of contact for communication between producers, exhibitors, and internal Spotlight departments regarding theatrical distribution operations
• Coordinate theatrical materials workflow and deadlines with Spotlight internal departments (e.g. exhibitor relations, operations, marketing, sales, and accounting)
• Track and confirm theatrical release dates for internal database
• Manage and confirm theatre bookings for each theatrical release
• Compile box office reporting for each theatrical release for daily reporting to senior management
• Generate internal and external monthly exhibitor reports
• Generate licensor royalty reports
• Maintain external contact list for event cinema and alternative programming
• Perform ad-hoc quantitative analyses as needed to assist with strategic release planning
• Participate in industry events/conventions
• Keep up with film exhibition and distribution industry news and trends
Requirements:
• College degree required
• 2-3 years of experience in the film exhibition or theatrical distribution industry
• Strong interpersonal skills with ability to build relationships
• Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal
• Must be able to make quick sound judgments and communicate effectively with colleagues, superiors and external vendors
• Must be highly organized, detail oriented and customer service/solutions focused
• Must be self-starting, flexible and willing to operate within a team environment
• Ability to properly manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
• Strong sense of urgency in accomplishing goals
• Strong PC skills and Microsoft Office experience, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, In-Design, and Photoshop
• Working knowledge of FileMaker and similar CRM software a plus
