Social Media Video Editor

Sportico is looking for a creative and versatile Social Media Video Editor and content creator. This role is ideal for someone who understands the fast-paced world of social media, has an eye for compelling visual storytelling and can contribute to the execution of engaging campaigns as part of a broader content strategy in conjunction with our editorial team.

Key Responsibilities:
• Edit and format video content for social media platforms, adapting to multiple formats, aspect ratios and platform-specific best practices.
• Collaborate on the development and execution of social media campaigns aligned with brand goals and marketing objectives.
• Create original content, both video and visual, for daily and campaign-based publishing.
• Stay current with trends, tools and platform updates to optimize content performance and engagement.
• Maintain best in class editorial standards to present original video content in a compelling manner.

Requirements:
• Proven experience editing short-form video content for social media.
• Demonstrated ability to conceptualize and create original social content.
• Proficiency with Capcut, Adobe Premiere or other video editing platforms.
• Familiarity with platform-specific content strategies and performance metrics.
• Experience shooting with Sony FX6 or Canon XF6 preferred but not required.

As PMC values in-person collaboration and team cohesion, employees work onsite 4 days a week and 1 day remotely with a focus on maintaining a vibrant and inclusive culture.

Typical wage range: $70k - $80k. Factors that could be used to determine your actual salary may include your specific skills, years of experience and comparison to current employees already in this role. The typical candidate is hired below midpoint of the range.
