Job Purpose
SXSW is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Digital Campaign Specialist to support the execution of paid campaigns across web, email, and social channels. This hands-on role is ideal for someone who is organized, tech-savvy, and eager to grow in digital marketing. This position will manage content calendars, publish social posts, QA assets, and monitor performance to ensure campaigns run smoothly. Duties & Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Execute digital ad campaigns across platforms, including Meta, LinkedIn, Bluesky, and YouTube
• Manage content and posting calendars to ensure on-time campaign launches
• Upload, schedule, and QA campaign assets across digital channels
• Coordinate with internal teams to collect final assets and secure approvals
• Track campaign delivery and assist in compiling weekly performance metrics
• Research and stay informed on platform updates, algorithm shifts, and industry best practices
• Organize and maintain digital campaign files and documentation within internal systems
• Assist with executing ad trades and publishing paid partnership content as needed
Qualifications & Skills
Qualifications include:
• 2 to 3 years of experience in digital marketing, content coordination, or social media publishing
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, especially in fast-paced environments
• Familiarity with content scheduling and publishing tools such as Hootsuite and Meta Business Manager
• Strong understanding of ad platforms and digital performance metrics
• Clear communicator and collaborative team player
• Interest in digital storytelling and audience engagement
• Knowledge of industries represented at the SXSW and a passion for working with the creative community.
• Ability to multitask, be agile, and adapt to evolving deadlines and priorities
• Familiarity with Hubspot, Google Analytics, Airtable, GSuite, FileMaker, and modern ad platforms
Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods of sitting or standing at a desk and working on a computer.
• Ability to lift up to 5 pounds occasionally, as needed.
• Manual dexterity to operate standard office equipment such as computers, phones, printers, etc.
• May require occasional bending, reaching, kneeling, or climbing stairs.
• Ability to work outdoors, including exposure to varying temperatures or noise levels.

Work Location & Schedule
The position is full-time and located in Austin, Texas. Core business office hours are from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. You must be available to work additional hours from January through March, including evenings and weekends. You must also be available for the March event, which will have extended working hours onsite.
