(S) Accepted Filmmaker Support Admin
The Accepted Filmmaker Support Admin will manage SXSW Film & TV Festival event data. They will assist Accepted Filmmakers with questions through email and in-person, troubleshoot issues, handle SXSW Schedule and SXSW Go App support, and offer overall Film & TV Festival assistance.
Duties & Responsibilities
Responsibilities
include, but are not limited to:
• Support the Accepted Filmmaker process by responding to emails and calls from Accepted Filmmakers. Proofread emails and announcements for accuracy. Keep the Accepted Filmmaker Portal and FAQ section current.
• Issue and track filmmaker badge coupons.
• Assist filmmakers at the Registration Help Desk during the event.
• Field support needs for events, including SXSW Tech Support, Accepted Filmmakers, etc., via email and Slack support channels.
• Work on the SXSW Schedule, including manually adding information, auditing, updating per filmmaker or tech request, and tracking missing Film Schedule elements.
• Manage the Filmmaker Questionnaire.
• Manually create connections between the Film Special Event schedule pages and the Film Event schedule pages they're related to via adding text and links to both pages.
• Proof all the printed materials for the Film & TV Festival
• Manage the Filmmaker Welcome Lunch invitations and RSVPs.
• Assist the ticketing team with Film & TV Guest ticket inquiries from Accepted Filmmakers.
• Create Airtable forms using approved copies for filmmakers to acquire necessary information.
• Create email automation within Airtable to inform filmmakers of updates, press releases, and required information.
On-Site Responsibilities
• Full availability for the entire SXSW Event
• Work at the Filmmaker Help Desk during registration hours and serve as a contact for the Accepted Filmmaker needs.
• Distribute film guest tickets, troubleshoot badge registration issues, be able to answer and find the answer for Film & TV festival-related inquiries.
• Create email automation to inform filmmakers of happy hours, award winners, etc.

Qualifications include:

• Strong communication and multitasking skills
• Ability to maintain a kind and professional demeanor at all times when talking to a large number of people over email, telephone, and in person
• Positive and proactive attitude
• Impeccable customer service
• Working knowledge of G-Suite applications, Filemaker Pro, and Airtable is preferred
Physical Requirements
Sitting or standing for long periods is frequently required, with or without accommodation. Manual dexterity is required for keyboard, computer, and office equipment use. Occasional lifting of up to 20 pounds. This position may require you to stay up to 10 consecutive days away from home during the event.
Work Location & Schedule
The position is hybrid in-person and remote in Austin, Texas. Core business office hours are Monday - Friday, 10 am 6 pm CT. Must be available to work additional hours from January to March, including evenings and weekends.
