Logistics Editor

The Logistics Editor position focuses heavily on news, analysis, and feature reporting and editing in all areas surrounding and adjacent to the field of logistics. The ideal candidate will have a solid grasp of journalism fundamentals, an ability to uncover and track news, strong writing, and editing skills, and a keen eye for detail. Must be a self-starter, with insatiable curiosity, an inquisitive thinker who is adaptable, versatile, and agile. Must be fluent in all aspects of digital media. The candidate is expected to produce a reasonable volume of daily stories under deadline pressure. Industry knowledge of logistics, sourcing, apparel, footwear, sustainability, tech, retail, or fashion is a plus. The position requires some travel and event coverage when necessary.

Requirements:
• Experience writing and editing for media publications. B2B background preferred.
• Ability to work quickly and report breaking news efficiently and accurately.
• Proficiency in WordPress or like CMS, including gallery creation when appropriate.
• Ability to create and manage evergreen content.

Typical wage range: $74-84k plus discretionary bonus.

Factors that could be used to determine your actual salary may include your specific skills, years of experience and comparison to current employees already in this role. The typical candidate is hired below the midpoint of the range. The total compensation package for this position will also include other elements, a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits including 401(k) eligibility and paid time off benefits.
