Seeking a Line Producer to join a multi-media company specializing in personal development, holistic living, and mindfulness as we launch a new digital platform. Full-time, 40-hours per week freelance to start with the possibility of expanding to a full-time staff position. Position is remote.
Overview:
The Line Producer will be responsible for supporting all aspects of production, budget management, schedules and logistics for daily, weekly and monthly programming. Duties also include developing budgets for new and existing programming, organizing production calendars, supporting communication between talent, producers and the technical team, and overseeing the signing of contracts with talent and staff. This highly organized individual will report to the Head of Production and work closely with the Head of Live Programming and technical team to support the production of compelling live-stream events, videos and social media content.
Responsibilities include:
Manage budgets and production schedules for 40+ hours of monthly live programming
Track all spending and invoices while keeping budget spreadsheets and software up-to-date
Oversee the signing and negotiation of talent and production team contracts and support communication between agents, talent, and the Head of Production
Assist the Head of Production with coordinating overall budget and production management needs as well as drafting and revisions of talent contracts
Work with senior producers and the technical team to execute all logistical aspects of live-streamed shows and pre-recorded content including equipment tracking and inventory
Coordinate schedules, book meetings and manage production calendars
Oversee Associate Producer's maintenance and organization of shared team files
Be a good human: honest, compassionate, caring and thoughtful - we are a team who support and care about each other as humans first
Qualifications:
7+ years of experience in Media or TV production, preferably live-streaming or broadcast
Extremely organized and highly adept with navigating budgets, fluid schedules and complex production logistics
Experience with drafting, reviewing and revising contracts as well as with negotiating and communicating with contracted talent and third parties
Outstanding communication with the ability to be clear, concise and kind
Proficient with Excel and strong knowledge of Google Workspace
Be flexible and adapt to the needs of fast-paced, evolving projects and goals
Possess enthusiasm for teamwork, brainstorming and developing new production solutions
A strong interest in health, wellness, spirituality, and mindfulness
Comfortable working remotely and willing to travel when deemed safe and necessary
Strong project management skills, preferably Asana, to help track and keep projects on time
