Recording Engineer — Manhattan & Brooklyn
We're hiring recording engineers for upcoming day and night shift openings.
Responsibilities
Track, edit, and mix client sessions
Adapt when a session's scope or direction changes
Keep sessions on schedule and running smoothly
Maintain a professional working environment for the client
Qualifications
Hands-on studio experience recording in Pro Tools required
Solid grasp of signal flow and mixing fundamentals
Ability to edit and arrange efficiently
Comfortable working independently; reliable and punctual
Strong communication skills
Job Details
Shifts: Day (11AM-8PM) or Night (7PM-4AM); full availability for your shift required
Weekends: Most openings include weekend shifts, so weekend availability is required
Pay: Starting at $17.50/hr, with room to grow
Location: Applicants must live in the NYC area or already be in the process of moving here. We do not offer relocation assistance.
All sessions are done on-site; no remote work

Sound Studios is a high-volume recording studio with locations in Manhattan and Brooklyn, specializing in vocal recording, editing, mixing, and mastering.
