A division of Sony Entertainment, GSN – encompasses many television brands – Game Show Network, get [great entertainment television], Sony Movies, Sony Cine and our FAST brands – Game Show Central, Cinevault, Cinevault Classics, Cinevault Westerns and get comedy.

We are looking for a seasoned writer / producer to join our Brand Creative Team.

The successful candidate will --
• Exhibit a love of television, branding, and communicating with audiences through the creative of clever, clear and concise promotions that will engage our viewers and invite them to watch. You should love a wide variety of programming – from Game Shows to classic television to movies.
• Organize and build projects from concept through delivery, directing and supervising video editors, sound editors and on-air announce talent and video editing
• Be adept at creative problem solving, able to work on multiple projects at once and able to work under pressure to meet strict deadlines
• Have excellent time management skills
• Have a keen understanding of the television industry, marketing concepts and brand
• Understand our target demo and how to best speak to them
• Understand all phases of pre-production, production and post-production
• Be a Team player who can build relationships across all teams within a tight organization

Requirements
• 7+ years experience in Television writing and producing promos.
• Thorough understanding of the creative and production process
• Share a body of creative work that demonstrates the ability to work with content across a wide variety of genres.
• Have a special appreciation of game shows – from classic shiny floor to competition based projects.
