Vice President, Marketing Int'l International Distribution and Productions
General Summary
Based in Culver City, the Vice President will oversee the strategy for sales and consumer marketing initiatives in support of Sony Pictures Television International Distribution and International Productions.
Responsibilities
include:
• Maintain a thorough knowledge of International Distribution Sales priorities and objectives as a key driving force for marketing activities for pre and post-sales needs
• Lead the development of sales marketing strategy for TV series to be incorporated into all materials for global sales team to aid in best positioning show for maximum value
• Craft comprehensive marketing plans for titles to include business-to-business and scalable consumer marketing initiatives, maximizing all opportunities to build/increase awareness in an effort to secure sales and drive consumer tune-in
• Engage with external agencies to create innovative marketing and promotional strategies and executions
• Collaborate with Research to ensure strategic underpinnings of all sales materials have ample support
• Work closely with internal Creative team in the development of marketing campaign assets across all titles (new & returning series)
• Ascertain needs from regional sales/marketing offices and work closely with internals teams to assist in fulfilment of necessary materials
• Work closely with regional offices to support implementation of efforts across B2B and consumer initiatives
• Collaborate with other marketing teams across the studio (Home Entertainment, Music, Consumer Products etc.) to leverage all promotional platforms for SPT content
• Partner with PR team to gain access to talent for sales and client needs and visibility on domestic plans to be shared with International partners
• Maintain Home office budget inclusive of creative, promotional and social executions
• Work closely with the SVP, International Distribution and International Production to oversee SPT LA Screenings
EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
• Minimum 12 years of experience in marketing for entertainment companies, ideally in International TV
• Experience in the B2B and B2C space preferred
• Strong knowledge and experience in digital marketing
• Must have strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain solid working relationships with clients, sales force, staff/agencies/consultants.
• Must be capable of leading and motivating teams as a facilitator who gets things done
• Must listen well and be sensitive to cultural differences.
• Must have excellent project and time management skills.
• Must have experience maintaining budgets
• Must be extremely pro-active and a self-starter
• Must be flexible and adaptable
• Fluency in Spanish is desired
