Networks Marketing Trainee, Sony Pictures Television – Summer/Fall 2019
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Support VP on all Brand Management related projects, including on-going roll-out of SPT's new network branding system
• Help launch and manage all assets on SPT's Brand Portal, ensuring everything is up-to-date and traffic any requests through the Creative Center
• Support VP & Manager where needed on all global campaigns and projects running through the department
• Manage global Programming Highlights calendar, ensuring information is updated monthly and shared with teams
• Support Director on all One Sony projects throughout the year, specifically developing post-campaign reports for all projects
• Manage all editorial on SPT's Brand Portal, including all weekly/monthly highlights from LA and regions
• Monitor industry trades & online blogs for the latest brand design & campaigns from key competitors and industry in general
• Manage the department work-in-progress document, tracking project status on a weekly basis and all team meeting agendas
• Oversee calendar and travel management for all senior team members as required
• Process department invoices, T&E reporting for senior team members and manage department budget tracker
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Previously interned at a studio/network and/or creative agency
• Bachelor's degree - Marketing & Communications
• Personally obsessed with TV, Film and Music
• Professionally interested in building a career in Branding & Advertising
• Skilled in Keynote and/or PowerPoint, Word & Excel
• Ability to function in a very fast-moving environment; quick reaction time to last minute changes
• Attention to detail and a high level of organization is imperative
• Must have the ability to prioritize, organize, handle multiple tasks
• Must be able to think proactively and, at times, work with minimal supervision
• Excellent oral and written communication skills; communicates effectively and courteously with all contacts – internal and external
• Highly adaptive and proactive problem solving critical to success; must be resourceful individual who can quickly solve problems; ability to make independent decisions
• Organizes workload throughout the day to meet project timelines and deadlines; must multitask and manage several projects at once; continuously shift focus/priorities as needed
