Procurement Supplier Diversity Intern, CORP – Spring 2019
SPE INTERN:
The Sony Pictures Entertainment Internship program offers a unique opportunity to work alongside the teams that come together to create movies, TV shows, and other great experiences. These seasonal paid assignments provide meaningful and productive work that allow you to build your resume, experience and develop your skills further. You will be provided with challenging tasks, real-world experience, valuable networking opportunities, and many educational and social opportunities while on the lot.
This Spring internship is from January to May. All candidates must be able to work between 10-29 hours.

Sony Pictures' Supplier Diversity program seeks to increase representation of diverse-owned businesses among our suppliers, to help deliver relevant entertainment for an ever-more diverse world. The Supplier Diversity intern will work closely with the Supplier Diversity manager, interacting with members of the Strategic Sourcing team and key stakeholders.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Assist in planning internal and external events, including research and logistics
• Respond to prospective supplier inquiries via email and telephone
• Perform diverse supplier research to support strategic sourcing projects
• Assist in preparation of presentations for internal and external stakeholders
• Develop Supplier Diversity analytics and reporting capabilities
• Document existing and new processes
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Experience with Microsoft Office products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
• Aptitude for learning to use unfamiliar software
• Qualitative and quantitative analytical skills
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Ability to balance multiple requests and projects
• Strong communication skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• - Undergraduate student studying in relevant field and able to work part time hours while in school
