International Marketing Partnerships Intern – Spring 2023
The Sony Pictures Entertainment Internship program offers a unique opportunity to work alongside the teams that come together to create movies, TV shows, and other great experiences. These seasonal, paid assignments provide meaningful and productive work that allows you to build your resume, experience and develop your skills further. You will be provided with challenging tasks, real-world experience, valuable networking opportunities, and many educational and social opportunities. This Spring Internship is from January through May 26th and all candidates must be able to work between 10-29 hours a week, Monday through Friday (flexible depending on school schedule) at our Culver City location.
DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION:
International Marketing Partnerships is responsible for securing meaningful marketing partnerships with strategically appropriate brands to help drive awareness of SPE's slate of films and build box office results.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
In this role, the intern will support the International Marketing Partnerships team in executing partner campaigns in support of our Spring 2023 releases, help brainstorm ideas for brands or categories that would be good fits for marketing partnerships on future titles, and assist with status documents reporting secured and potential partner deals. He or she will be instrumental in tracking and capturing global, regional, and local activity of all campaigns and creating a wrap report to present the full Promotional campaign for that title. He/she will liaise with our international offices on all monthly status sales calls, regional agency calls, and help vet and process new deals for approval.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Intermediate in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
• Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite preferred
• Proficient in internet research with experience in an office setting
• Proven interest in working with international markets
• Flexible and able to prioritize within fluid situations
• Proven track record of meeting deadlines and working under tight time constraints
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with colleagues Internationally
• Knowledge and passion for film
