Sony Pictures Television's (SPT) London based Formats and International Production Marketing department have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Marketing Co-Ordinator to be a key member of the global unscripted and scripted formats and international production marketing team in pre-and post-sales efforts.
The Role
The Senior Marketing Co-Ordinator will support the Senior Marketing Manager in the creation of marketing materials and branding initiatives, to ensure the successful rollout and sales of formats and local productions. They will take responsibility for key administrative functions and assist in the preparation of high-quality marketing and sales materials.Key Responsibilities
• Support the Senior Marketing Manager in the creation of sales materials for unscripted formats and local productions, including pitch presentations, sales sheets, format promos, pitch videos etc.
• Work with Research to ensure ratings for show launches and season summaries are provided in a timely manner and fed into presentations.
• Manage in-house designers and external agencies for all creative design needs.
• Create eblasts to promote key show premieres and international launches.
• Create and maintain digital and print catalogues.
• Create bespoke presentations for sales executives.
• Assist in the collection of show launch strategies for key international shows, track social media activity and contact local PR and marketing teams for information.
• Create social media strategies for new show launches and work with agencies on campaigns.
• Create marketing bibles, showcasing how formats are launched internationally.
• For key titles, create pre-sales brand websites, showcasing possibilities for formats across, production, sponsorship, ancillary, press and marketing.
• Manage the design and production of advertising for print and online trade publications.
• Manage Sony's presence on local trade sites, screening suites and manage the formats website.
• Supply marketing collateral and source premium items, liaising with local marketing colleagues.
• Assist in the organization of in person and remote events and screenings.
• Manage the collection and distribution of video materials for the creation of sales reels and manage agencies/liaise with local production companies in the creation of format promos.
• Manage the collection and organization and distribution of all show assets including photography, trailers etc. and ensure all marketing collateral is uploaded to digital asset management systems.
• Ensure the format/local production files, databases and libraries are kept up to date.
• Assist in the entry process for international awards, maintain records and key facts for priority formats including track record and press.
• Financial administration including PO creation and processing new vendors.
• Other ad hoc administrative duties including servicing deliverables for finished programmes.
• To support the VP of Marketing & International Production, to ensure meetings, agendas and follow up notes are prepped and provided when needed.
• Assistance when needed to help book and be on site to manage EPK crew logistics.
• Manage collection and distribution of EPK assets: collect raw content from crew, provide notes on rough cuts re spoilers/content, distribute final assets to clients, etc.
• Liaise with broadcaster to collect additional assets: logo, title treatment, key art, etc.
Qualifications
and/or Experience Required
• 2 plus years of television marketing experience desirable.
• A solid understanding of the production process and format sales business.
• Highly interested in unscripted entertainment.
• Strong interpersonal skills to maintain sound working relationships.
• Self-motivated team player and facilitator.
• Highly proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
• Photoshop, In-Design and Video Editing skills are desirable.
• The ability to learn and manage key digital sites/website management, quickly and proficiently.
• Brand management experience desirable.
• Excellent copy writing skills with first class attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Exceptionally organized.
• Ability to coordinate and juggle projects in a dynamic/changing environment and seeing those projects through to completion.
• Bachelor's degree in related discipline or equivalent experience.
