Senior Manager, Global Digital Marketing
The Senior Manager of Global Digital Marketing is responsible for supporting the development and implementation of B2B and B2C digital and social strategies for Sony Pictures Television Marketing International Distribution and Production. Reporting into the VP of Digital Marketing, the Senior Manager is the point of contact for regional marketing teams, internal departments, and digital vendors.
The ideal candidate understands the global digital landscape and can apply that knowledge into campaign concepts to help support sales objectives. This person should have experience at an agency, studio, streamer, or network environment, working with and implementing digital advertising and social media campaigns and should have a strong understanding of existing and emerging social platforms and trends while understanding the limitations and possibilities of the medium.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Digital point of contact for TV brand team, internal Sony business units, regional marketing leads and external vendors
• Provide regular updates to international teams with data-based insights and guidance
• Update territories on innovative approaches to reaching audiences via emerging platforms
• Create title focused digital asset packs for sales support
• Generate suite of marketing assets including social toolkit for sales support, digital concepts, strategies as well as tactics that clients receive upon acquisition
• Develop organic and paid digital marketing strategies to meet B2B goals
• Collaborate with internal teams to support data & engagement strategy
• Partner with paid media and data solutions teams to package information for clients
• Liaise with regional marketing team to execute B2C campaigns
• Oversee SPTV owned social pages, including agency oversight
• Work with marketing and sales teams across the business to educate and integrate social media with all marketing efforts
• Maintain global sales marketing digital budget
Desired Skills and Experience:
• Minimum of 5+ years of solid experience in digital and social marketing, advertising or related business is required (B2B experience a plus)
• Education: Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university
• Skills and abilities: The candidate must be able to handle multiple projects simultaneously, able to quickly adapt to growing business needs and possess strong interpersonal and management skills.
• Avid Entertainment/Television fan
• Experience with strategic brainstorming, campaign development and brand development.
• Strong Communication skills a must – and needs to work well in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
• Analytical and quick thinking in a fast-paced environment is essential.
