Supporting the Executive Director of - Global - Digital Marketing, the Senior Manager will oversee the creation of Digital and Social assets for Sony's International Theatrical Campaigns, and they will collaborate with creative vendors, key stakeholders, internal departments, and local territory offices.
This role will be responsible for maintaining creative assets and deliverable timelines, localization and source file management, local territory support, and approving local digital and social creative as needed. The senior manager will support the development of the international digital marketing strategy and social creative to ensure that the local territory offices have all the materials they need to launch a timely and successful theatrical campaign. Additionally, this role will collaborate with the international media, international publicity, and international research and strategy teams .
This position is a part of the Global Digital & Social team and will work closely across the team to help inform digital and social strategies and cadence for each film campaign. -
Primary Responsibilities
• Support the creation of international digital assets across all Sony Theatrical Titles, including - The Pope's Exorcist, Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse, Insidious 5, Gran Turismo, Kraven The Hunter, Madame Web -
• Responsible for the international digital creative workflows and ensure that international territory timelines are being met -
• Act as a support for external agencies to provide creative feedback to help shape digital materials
• Manage project deliverables including source files, translation copy, localization workflows etc. -
• Support weekly international meetings with local markets and ensure action items are circulated to key stakeholders -
• Track International Digital Marketing Budgets including reviewing and approving vendor proposals, SOWs, and invoicing questions
• Review and approve territories' digital creative for strategy and branding -
Core Responsibilities
• DIGITAL STRATEGY DEVELOPMENT: Support the development of all digital strategy briefs which lay the framework for the digital and social campaign starting from production through film release
• AGENCY MANAGEMENT & DIGITAL ASSET PRODUCTION: Manage the development of all digital assets working with internal and external teams on the strategy and implementation.
• CROSS FUNCTIONAL COLLABORATOR: Collaborate with departments and international teams and local offices to ensure consistency in materials and strategies in the campaign.?
• ASSET MANGAGEMENT: Maintain creative assets and deliverable timelines, localization and source file management
• BUDGET OVERSIGHT: Track budgets and working directly with finance to fix any budget changes.
Skills
and Knowledge in:
• Strong interest in International Marketing and Global Trends?
• 360 campaign knowledge and experience with developing strategy, social, digital, and email creative
• Experience managing a creative agency, including crafting creative briefs and giving feedback. Prior agency experience a plus
• Obtains a strong understanding of the social media landscape and tracks the consumer behaviors trends within the landscape
• Passionate about the theatrical experience and connecting with consumers?
• Deep understanding of the core social media platforms and their creative requirements?
• Excellent organization and communication skills?
Attributes:
• Preferred 4-5 years of Digital/Social Media Marketing experience
• Proficient with MS Office, Adobe Photoshop and/or Creative Suite
• Previous experience in an agency, studio or network environment?
• Previous experience managing budgets and fiscal planning?
• Understanding digital reporting tools and data insights?
• A drive to innovate and break the mold with breakout creative campaigns
• Passionate about entertainment and connecting with consumers
• Self-starter with high level of initiative and ability manage multiple campaigns while still possessing an immaculate attention to detail
• Strong sense of ownership and urgency
• Must have an open communication and work collaboratively in a team environment, which takes into account managing expectations with multiple stakeholders
