Senior Manager, Account Management - TV Creative Center - Wheel of Fortune & Jeopardy!

The position is based in Culver City, CA and provides high level account management – planning and oversight for a particular business unit(s). This role is embedded into the business unit's operations and gathers pertinent information and is the conduit for communication that informs all projects coming to the Creative Center (CC). This position reports into the Vice President of Operations/ Production and works closely with operations, production and creative staff. The goal is to have one point of contact for constituents that gathers context and information for CC so that prioritization, overarching business strategy, success metrics and business KPIs can be managed accordingly.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
Client Management - Proactively account manage multiple complex projects for Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy! This role is servicing the two most iconic television brands within Sony Pictures Television Studio. Must be an effective liaison between various groups within Sony Pictures Television (occasionally with external agencies and vendors). Work hand-in-hand with Operations, Production and CC executives to initiate and execute projects. Must be adept at anticipating needs and prioritizing. Timely seeking and processing of information is critical to the success of this role. Must be detail oriented. Responsible for gathering context, project updates including but not limited to budget, schedule, resources, and progress on deliverables. Confirm all technical specifications are accurate throughout the project and all internal processes and workflows are maintained as a second line of defense after the Producers. Responsible for partnering with operations and production, meeting budgets and quick turnaround deadlines and the communication around these milestones.
Communication and Collaboration – Relationships are the cornerstone of this position. Smooth collaboration between constituents and CC is critical to our success. Be a positive team leader and an advocate for collaboration. Work to build bridges between business units and CC. Initiate project communication (internal and external) to ensure professional and friendly tone. Build a positive relationship throughout the project with clients to ensure a desire for future work with the global internal agency. Proactively anticipate and address project needs with appropriate communication and solutions. Participation in review sessions and presentations is optional but advantageous due to the constituent's POV that you represent.
New Project Facilitation - Define project expectation and goals in collaboration with key project stakeholders. Must be adept in assessing true client needs and expectations as it relates to an overarching strategy. Must be skilled in defining overall business strategy and context with the ability to communicate this effectively to both constituent and CC. Work closely with Producers to create, iterate and track project timelines, deliverables, and budgets in order to achieve project alignment and approval. Work with constituent (when applicable), CDs, VP Operations/ Production and Producers on creation of creative brief and attain alignment before work begins. Consult with CC team as they build a detailed project plan, including internal pipeline considerations, budget, schedule, deliverables list, etc. to ensure that expectations are aligned and being met. Maintain a strong knowledge of the skill and attributes of the internal creative team's abilities. You are an ambassador and advocate for CC and your client-facing role puts you front and center as a senior representative of what CC embodies.
Maintain familiarity with current culture and design trends and advocate for cutting edge excellence and quality. Embody the philosophy of what CC has built and be able to articulate it to any constituent. Exhibit an innate sense of curiosity .

Work Experience Requirements
• 6-8 years in production in marketing services, creative service agencies, network promotions, client services or a similar field (broadcast, digital, print, experiential a plus)
• Primary skills include: excellent verbal and written communication, strong interpersonal and collaboration, negotiating skills, problem solving, time and project management, multi-tasking
• Business strategy acumen, innate sense of curiosity
• Ability to see the big picture and holistically strategize, build consensus as well as excitement
• Highly motivated self-starter
• Passionate about original, acquired and library content, global branding initiatives, editorial/ social content and storytelling, the ability to make it work with a can-do attitude
