This role supports the operational and financial delivery of the International Production Consultancy team across Production Consultancy, Technical Solutions, Motion Graphics, and Licensing and Ancillary activities.
Acting as the central coordination point for departmental operations, finance, and vendor management, the role ensures accurate tracking of revenue, costs, recharges, and supplier engagement across Sony systems.
The role also oversees global technical and graphics workflows, maintains production tracking systems, and provides structured reporting and analysis to support operational efficiency and informed decision-making.
This role is for a fixed-term basis to cover maternity leave.
What you'll do:
Financial Management and Reporting
• Centralise and manage departmental revenue and cost tracking across Consultancy, Technical Solutions, Motion Graphics, and Licensing and Ancillary.
• Raise and manage Purchase Orders, production invoices, recharges, and vendor set up in line with contract and licensing terms.
• Compile all required contractual and financial documentation and instruct global finance to raise invoices, track issuance and payment through to resolution.
• Monitor Profit and Loss reporting, production billing, episodic software fees, and Travel and Expenses spend to ensure alignment with approved budgets.
• Liaise with global finance teams, Capgemini, and territory teams to resolve discrepancies, ensure timely collections, and support audit compliance.
• Identify and implement improvements to payment tracking and reporting visibility across Sony systems
Supplier Coordination
• Coordinate end-to-end technical consultancy support for global licensees, ensuring clear communication between clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
• Source and manage supplier quotations, track associated costs and revenue, and support client billing processes.
• Act as the primary point of contact for key technical suppliers, maintaining regular engagement and oversight of delivery.
• Conduct regular review of supplier responses and engagement to ensure alignment with agreed commercial terms and service expectations.
• Coordinate travel, logistics, and day-to-day technical queries in support of consultancy activity.
Motion Graphics and Project Operations
• Maintain structured project tracking systems to ensure clear visibility of timelines, deliverables, and status across Motion Graphics and related production activity.
• Coordinate approval workflows between clients and the Motion Graphics team, ensuring timely feedback and delivery.
• Oversee delivery, storage, and logging of graphics and production assets, maintaining accurate records and version control.
• Maintain global tracking systems covering hardware, software, and graphical assets, ensuring information remains current and accessible.
Systems and Process Improvement
• Develop and maintain structured databases and tracking tools to support operational visibility and reporting accuracy.
• Support digitisation initiatives and secure asset management across Production Consultancy and related teams.
• Provide financial analysis and summary materials to support senior decision-making.
What you have:
• Typically 3-5 years' experience in production operations, finance coordination, or international production support within media or television.
• Strong understanding of production finance processes, including invoicing, recharges, vendor management, and reporting.
• Experience working across SAP, Concur, or similar financial systems.
• Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams across international stakeholders and suppliers.
• Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
• Relevant industry experience required.
• A degree or equivalent qualification desirable but not essential.
• Additional language skills advantageous given the international scope of the role.
• Advanced Excel and strong Microsoft Office capability.
• Experience with SAP, financial tracking systems, and shared storage platforms such as SharePoint or Box.
• Strong numerical accuracy and structured reporting skills.
