Senior Financial Analyst, Technology
This position is primarily responsible for managing and supporting the day-to-day FP&A functions for several SPE Information Technology Lines of Business including (Corporate, MPG, TV, HEW and Regional teams). This position will support the IT customers with the Budgeting and Forecasting process activities for Overhead and Capital spend including the annual MRP/Budgeting processes and Monthly/Quarterly Forecast submissions. They will also work closely with the Finance HUB team and Offshore Accounting Teams to review the monthly actuals and variance analysis for the groups they support.
The IT Finance Sr. Financial Analyst will also serve as a liaison between the followings groups:
• Home Office Hub resources
• Corporate Finance
• Offshore Accounting Team (CapGemini)
• Project Management Office
Core Responsibilities
• FP&A activities for various LOB's including meeting with IT customers, capturing and updating Overhead and Capital forecasts, budgets and MRP information. Review and correct monthly variance analysis files prepared by Offshore Accounting Team before they are submitted to the IT Customers.
• Assist the IT Finance Director/Manager with the annual MRP/Budgeting BPC upload process including creating models/templates to facilitate the process.
• Manage and assist with special projects and ad-hoc reporting requests from various groups including (IT customers, Finance, auditors, vendors). Responsible for Quarterly Corporate Form preparation.
• Assist the IT Finance Manager with the depreciation process including meeting with Project Managers to understand and capture the fixed asset timeframe for their project to allow the offshore team to execute the appropriate depreciation tasks.
Job Requirements
• BS degree preferred
• 1-3 years of experience preferred
• Knowledge of: GAAP and Entertainment Accounting
• Skill in: Excellent computer skills are mandatory. Word & Excel pivots, Vlookups, Macros a must. SAP- Intermediate to Advance level
• Ability to: Foster an outstanding relationship of customer service and satisfaction with operating and financial personnel at all levels.
• Must have excellent organizational and analytical skills.
