Senior Coordinator, Diversity & Inclusion
We approach D&I holistically by focusing efforts on our workforce, workplace, and our marketplace. Meaning that at any given day we could be looking into workforce analytics, rolling out workshops aimed at building a more inclusive environment, and meeting with organizations about increasing representation in front of and behind the camera.
With such a broad scope, we align to SPE's Principles and Values and anchor our activities globally around three pillars – leadership, talent, and everyday inclusion. The Diversity & Inclusion Sr. Coordinator will support the entire D&I team to execute Sony Pictures' global diversity and inclusion initiatives and programs. This role reports to the Chief Diversity Officer.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assists with drafting diversity and inclusion communications, presentations, event flyers and reference documents
• Provides administrative support for Sony Pictures' Employee Business Resource Group program
• Reviews EBRG event proposals, communications/flyers
• Manages EBRG budgets and CSR Community Grant funds
• Maintains EBRG process documents, handbook and reference guides
• Provide administrative support for D&I creative initiatives
• Scheduling and meeting logistics
• Takes detailed meeting notes and action items
• Plans and executes events logistics for the Diverse Directors Program and Diverse Writers Program
• In partnership with D&I Administrative Assistant maintains the Office of Diversity & Inclusion and Sony Pictures Action mailbox
• Leads virtual and in-person events
• Partners with stakeholders to execute events (i.e., IT, Special Events, Corporate Communications, etc.)
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in relevant field
• 1-2 years of working experience in either Diversity & Inclusion or in a relevant business field
• Strong PC proficiency required. Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint & MS Teams
• Ability to work independently and as an integral part of a team
• Strategic partner with a proven track record of establishing strong, effective partnerships with staffing managers, executives, and operating units
• High energy and passion for diversity and inclusion
• Creativity, self–confidence, and flexibility
• Excellent organizational, oral and written communication skills
• Excellent project management skills; demonstrated ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast–paced environment with changing priorities
• Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times
