Senior Analyst, eDiscovery
The Senior Analyst – eDiscovery position will report to the Director of eDiscovery and is responsible for performing day-to-day eDiscovery, Litigation Support, and technical tasks within the GIFS Forensic Lab to support the eDiscovery and Investigation programs. An ideal candidate will have working knowledge of data collection, processing, and hosting; with previous experience in an eDiscovery support role. As a member of GIFS, the Senior Analyst - eDiscovery position will require technical knowledge in the area of digital forensics in order to analyze computer, network and email data; as well as provide backup team support to the critical data recovery function.
Responsibilities
• Collect data from various sources (hard drive, network locations, email)
• Process data according to legal specifications
• Work with Director of eDiscovery to organize, plan and execute eDiscovery case deliverables
• Adhere to Forensic Lab policies including chain-of-custody
• Support the oversight of internal eDiscovery platforms
• Support eDiscovery workflow documentation effort
• Work in fast-paced, dynamic team environment, with flexible schedule
Qualifications
Required:
• Bachelor's degree
• 2 years of experience with programming/scripting languages
• Understanding of evidence collection, handling and chain of custody
• Understanding of EDRM workflow
• Technical experience with EnCase, AccessData, Nuix, Relativity, Clearwell or similar data analysis platforms
• Strong Microsoft office skills
• Excellent organizational skills
• Good interpersonal communication skills
Preferred Additional Skills:
• eDiscovery training or certification EnCEP, ACEDS, RCA
• Digital Forensic experience or certification - EnCE, CFCE, CCE, GIAC or equivalent
• Experience with creating and/or modifying python or ruby scripts
• Work independently on self-driven projects.
• Be available outside of normal work hours at times.
• Willingness to work on a fast paced, dynamic team.
