Senior Analyst, People & Organization Technology & Analytics
Position Summary
The Senior Analyst, P&O Analytics & Technology within the People & Organization Department provides support to both HRIS and Analytics functions within the People & Organization (HR) team. This role will maintain Workday (HRIS) and other systems, and implement configuration, business processes and workflow improvements in these systems. In addition, this role will collect and analyze HR data, define people metrics for organizational effectiveness and offer actionable analysis and dashboards, interfacing with HR and other business functions. This position performs this work in coordination with other team members and under the supervision of the Senior Vice President of Rewards, Technology & Operations.
Responsibilities
• Manages configuration, testing and coordination of system maintenance activities in Workday, including maintaining supervisory organizational structure, business processes, etc.
• Defines potential process improvements for keys P&O functions and helps imbed those changes, from documenting new processes to defining required system changes.
• Conducts periodic audits of Workday data.
• Researches and responds to requests from P&O generalists, COE personnel, Payroll and other support groups and employees regarding systems and processes.
• Work with the greater People & Organization community (Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, Diversity & Inclusion, Business Partners, etc) in developing and delivering key data intelligence to improve the decision-making process around people strategy
• Design and maintain reports, dashboards, and presentations to answer relevant business questions and communicate key HR data insights to stakeholders in an easy to understand format
• Runs standard and adhoc reports
• Manage adhoc analytics requests and projects
• Participates in special projects as required.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of employee information, promote data governance, and be a steward to promote improvements of overall data quality
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Statistics, Psychology (Industrial-Organizational or Organizational Psychology preferred) or related field; Masters or higher degree a plus
• Proficiency with MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel
• HRIS experience required; Workday experience is a plus.
• Proficiency in SPSS (or similar statistical software packages) & Tableau (or similar data visualization software) a plus
• Proven track record of excellent follow-through on assignments; demonstrated commitment to getting tasks accomplished with minimal supervision.
• Must have attention to detail, strong written and verbal communication skills, and a strong sense of integrity, confidentiality, diplomacy, and professionalism.
• Organized individual who can prioritize heavy workload and meet deadlines in a very fast paced and dual reporting environment. Ability to work with a sense of urgency while maintaining a professional and cooperative demeanor.
• Experience dealing with employees on all levels and ability to adapt communication style to suit the cultural differences required for a global audience.
• Ability to work independently or with limited supervision, make good quality decisions, problem solve, and adapt easily to changing priorities.
