This is a Full Time Job
The Script Coordinator provides support on maintaining systems for tracking, distribution, and archiving throughout the script process on a hit Children's animated series-from outline to final draft across multiple projects in production as assigned.
Main Responsibilities:
• Create and maintain distribution system for all scripts and script elements from premise to final draft
• Coordinate and correlate Creative Team and partner's notes during each stage of script process
• Work at the direction of the Series Producer to maintain tracking system for all scripts and script elements from premise to final draft
• Compile scripts and related materials for the Creative Team.
• Liaise with Series Producer/Head Writers/Script Writers to track all relevant information pertaining to incoming scripts.
• Liaise with Production team to ensure that scripting stays on schedule and budget, including maintaining necessary related paperwork.
• Create, manage, and maintain script numbering system and episode synopsis for tracking and archival purposes.
• Track and archive all versions of scripts including, documentation of all notes and approvals.
• Format script writer's submissions using Final Draft software.
• Coordinate script meetings including compiling necessary materials and assist in logistical planning.
• Coordinate and compile necessary writing materials for writer's meetings and casting and vocal records.
• Create and review casting documents
• As assigned, download, file, distribute and maintain series and development deliveries
• Assist associate producer with creating social media posts, materials for marketing, short form content, etc.
REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
• Excellent communication (written, oral, and interpersonal), strong organizational skills and an ability to multitask
• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent work experience
• Proficient with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Photoshop
• Proficiency in Final Draft, Premiere and/or After Effects a plus
• Prior experience in television or animation production a plus
