Screen Credits Coordinator, Legal Affairs - Motion Picture Group
Supports the VP and two others in preparing and finalizing on screen and paid ad credits for motion pictures, in addition to other credits-related activities with administrative tasks, including: contract review, heavy word processing (preparing, formatting, proofreading, editing & revising various department documents), managing document flow (including creating and maintaining files), distributing and following-up on documents, updating department databases & lists, answering phones.
Responsibility:
• Processing (formatting, revising, distributing, etc…) Motion Picture Screen Credits' Billing Documents
• Open and Close Project Files (Physical & Database)
• Prepare & Submit Premiere/Travel Obligations Memo and DVD/Soundtrack Entitlements Memo
• Processing (distributing and tracking) WGA NTWC's and Arbitration Materials
• Maintain Project Assignment Tracking Report
• Miscellaneous Administrative (Phones, Filing, Copying, Scheduling, etc…)
Job Requirements:
• BA degree preferred
• At least 3 years' experience as an assistant in the legal or business affairs or motion picture production/post production/delivery administration arena
• Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office, Transfer Databases)
• Exceptional organizational and interpersonal skills
• Must be able to multi-task and prioritize to ensure that all assignments are completed in an accurate and timely manner
• Must be able to meet deadlines
• Must be flexible – an ability to work well in an environment where needs and priorities are subject to revision
• Commonsense, dependability, discretion and attention to detail are required
• Must be a self-starter with a team-player attitude
• Excellent communication skills – written and oral (must have a professional and courteous demeanor)
• Build and maintain relationships with other departments and cross functional groups
