have an exciting opportunity for a Publicity Coordinator to join them on a 5-month limited term basis to provide support for upcoming theatrically released titles in Korea.
Reporting to the Publicity Lead, the Publicity Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the planning and execution of publicity campaigns for all theatrically released titles in Korea that are distributed by the Company. This role will coordinate day-to-day publicity activities including media relations, editorial support, press events including talent tours, talent-related opportunities, and campaign reporting.
What you will do:
• Support the planning and execution of publicity strategies for all theatrically released titles in cooperation with internal team and PR agencies.
• Assist publicity lead in various PR functions including press blasts, editorial placements, media outreach, press material distribution, and daily issue tracking.
• Coordinate publicity events including press screenings, junkets, talent tours & interview opportunities, stage greetings, and other special events as needed.
• Prepare, localize, and distribute publicity materials including press releases, production notes, talking points, subtitles/translations, and other editorial assets.
• Assist in maintaining day-to-day communication with PR agencies, media outlets, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely execution of publicity plans.
• Track and compile media coverage, online buzz, and competitor publicity activity, and support daily/weekly clipping reports and campaign recaps.
• Support digital publicity activities in collaboration with digital/social team including influencer screenings, online editorial opportunities, and community management whenever necessary.
• Handle various administrative tasks for the publicity team including invitation lists, screening RSVPs, schedule coordination, asset requests, contract processing, and other supporting paperwork.
What you need:
• Bachelor degree, preferably in marketing, communications, journalism or business management.
• Minimum 3 years' experience working in film publicity, public relations, media communications, or entertainment marketing.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with an eye for detail and accuracy.
• Understanding and knowledge of the latest entertainment and media trends.
• Ability to coordinate multiple schedules, deadlines, and external partners in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Collaborative and strong team player. Ability to establish good working relationships with agencies and media.
• Sound judgment and a high level of responsibility when handling external communications and sensitive information.
• A strong passion for content & cinema.
• Fluency in Korean required and above average proficiency in English (both written and spoken) preferred.
• Available and committed to completing a 5-month contract
