The Production Finance Coordinator supports the Production Finance team who oversee the management of each of Sony Pictures animated projects. This role will help in ensuring accurate film weekly cost reporting. Will assist with day-to-day production financial operations including residuals, purchase card reconciliation, production policy compliance, as well as supporting senior management reporting requirements.
Job Description
• Review and audit expense reports.
• Purchase card reconciliation and tracking for Production and Overhead
• Assist in preparing film residuals package
• Processing invoices for independent contractors, third party production expenses, marketing and studio operations.
Qualifications
• 1 years previous accounts payable / accounts receivable office experience.
• Highly organized, resourceful and dependable with excellent interpersonal and oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure in a voluminous deadline-oriented department. Must be willing to take and follow directions.
• Ability to work independently and set appropriate priorities.
• Ability to take direction when needed and also take the initiative where applicable.
• Trustworthy and ability to maintain a high level of discretion.
• Bachelor's degree or 5 years of related experience.
• Computer and technology literate – familiarity with Mac/PC operating systems, Word, Excel, Outlook and Gmail.
