Physical Production Trainee, Sony Pictures TV – Summer 2024

This Summer Trainee position is from June through December 13th and all candidates must be able to work 40 hours a week, Monday through Friday in the specified location. This position is ideal for recent graduates or entry-level talent interested in jump-starting their career in a particular field. A hybrid work structure may or may not be available.

DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION: Sony Pictures Television Physical Production

The Sony Pictures Entertainment Internship program offers a unique opportunity to work alongside the teams that come together to produce TV shows for Sony Pictures Television in the physical production department. We are currently working on shows such as THE BOYS, THE NIGHT AGENT, FOR ALL MANKIND, GEN V, and SWAT. These seasonal, paid assignments provide meaningful and productive work that allows you to build your resume, and experience and develop your skills further. You will be provided with challenging tasks, real-world experience, valuable networking opportunities, and many educational and social opportunities. This Spring Internship is from January through May 26th and all candidates must be able to work between 10-29 hours a week, Monday through Friday (flexible depending on school schedule).

RESPONSIBILITIES and LEARNINGS:
• Calendar
• Phones
• Various production documents
• Grids
• Travel, and other aspects of physical production

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Background in film production

The anticipated base salary for this position is $22/hour. This role may also qualify for comprehensive benefits. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location of the position.
