Full Time Paid Internship
Sony Pictures Classics, a company that acquires, produces, and distributes films from North America and around the world, seeks a six-month, full-time, paid Acquisitions trainee.
The duration of the internship is six months.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
-Writing coverage for scripts and finished films
-Market research projects
-Administrative duties (scheduling and maintaining a calendar of calls, meetings, and travel; managing department databases; answering phones; etc)
Job Requirements:
-Strong administrative skills
-Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment
-A knowledge of American independent & International films

The anticipated base salary for this position is $19/hour. This role may also qualify
for comprehensive benefits. The actual base salary offered will depend on a

applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained,
certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location of
the position.
