Manager, Marketing Analytics, Funimation
Sony Pictures Television is currently seeking a Manager, Marketing Analytics to join our team in Culver City to work on its direct to consumer marketing programs, specifically supporting the Funimation business.
The ideal candidate will have hands on analytics experience in user acquisition at a direct response e-commerce, agency or gaming company. You will be obsessed about measurement of KPIs like CAC, LTV, Cost per app install and ROI, and be an expert in Google Analytics. You will also have experience with data mining techniques, advanced SQL and statistical modeling. This role will be an integral part of the marketing team collaborating with multiple stakeholders to ensure accurate data collection, tagging and reporting. This highly visible role will be independently responsible for all ROI reporting and ad-hoc analyses
What You'll Do
• Independently Oversee Google Analytics and Adjust MMP and be the primary contact for managing GA agency and all internal requests
Independently manage projects and priorities for outside analytics vendors and teams
Mentor and manage a junior analyst
• Own campaign reporting and tracking for paid and owned marketing campaigns including multi-channel attribution monitoring and optimization
• be the expert on 3rd party analytics vendors and platforms
• Work cross-functionally with marketing, finance, product and e-commerce teams to analyze data and drive meaningful business results in the US and globally
• Lead initiatives to maintain and evolve all customer lifetime value models in order to drive greater media efficiency
Conceptualize and execute reporting and ad-hoc analyses that deliver insights to increase content engagement and personalization and improve customer experience on site and streaming platforms
• Mine and analyze data to drive optimization of marketing techniques and product improvements. Build predictive and regression based models utilizing R & SQL
• Regularly present and socialize results with key stakeholders and executives
• Be organized and comfortable juggling multiple projects at once across multiple advertising mediums
Requirements
• 4+ years of experience in marketing analytics or data science in adigital direct to consumer environment at an e-commerce or gaming company.. Experience in a streaming or OTT environment a plus
• Bachelors degree required with a major or emphasis in Marketing, Statistics, Finance or Economics preferred
• Expert-level proficiency with Excel, SQL, Google Analytics and advanced data manipulation tools
• Strong understanding of different media types, attribution methods and customer acquisition methodologies including optimizing cost per acquisition, retention and lifetime value metrics
Experience utilizing data and analytics to understand content engagement, improve LTV and optimize product experience and features
Exposure to survey based methods for consumer insights and product optimization
• Strong communication and project management skills
• Familiarity with direct response analysis frameworks
