Media Manager
Role Summary
The B2P Mexico Media Manager will be responsible for the planning, negotiation and execution of the paid media and advertising campaigns to support Sony's Theatrical, HE and Networks local marketing strategy, budgets and dates of release/launch for each title/program.
Core Responsibilities
• Ensure all agency briefs are accurate and issued in accordance with the approved strategy and positioning instructed by the B2P Unit Head and B2P Mexico Marketing Director.
• Prepare clear, objective, and comprehensive briefings to advertising agencies, allowing them to suggest the best plans to each film or Network show.
• Manage reports and budget approvals with the Home Office Media team.
• Ensure purchase orders are issued for all approved expenditure related to the marketing of the titles, prior to execution of expenditure.
• Confirm media plan, spaces, and formats for each Theatrical, HE and Networks campaign. Coordinate, launch and supervise the performance of our media campaigns.
• Continuous analysis of new media opportunities, channels, and innovation in advertising.
• In conjunction with the B2P Mexico Marketing Director, guarantee budget availability, alignment with the B2P Mexico Team, B2B Mexico Team, Publicity and Creative units to guarantee the available resources for every activity proposed for the Theatrical, HE and Networks releases/program launches.
• Craft strategy for buzzworthy and elevated paid media campaigns across multiple media with an emphasis on big ideas that drive BO, transactions, viewership, and Social Media conversation.
• Partner closely with Home Office, B2P, B2B, B2i, Publicity and Creative Lat Am Teams to drive information gathering and data analysis efforts to drive future enhancement of media plans.
Job Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related fields - Required.
• 7 of years specialty 5 of years entertainment 2 of years managerial
• 5+ years marketing experience in the entertainment industry.
• 5+ years leadership experience.
• Fluent in written and spoken Spanish and English, Portuguese a plus
• Microsoft Office.
• Media Planning / Buying experience
• Budgeting and administrative tasks
• Strong and knowledgeable in Media research, Data and Analytics
• Strong understanding of the Mexican Media
• Strong knowledge of digital media and platforms
• Use of metrics, analytics and capable of data management and interpretation
• Significant experience managing outside creative vendors and agencies
