Marketing Manager, TV Formats and International Production

Overview
Sony Pictures Entertainment is one of the global television industry's leading content providers, producing and distributing programming in every genre around the world, and for a multitude of platforms.
Sony Pictures Television's (SPT) London based Formats and International Production Marketing department have an exciting opportunity for a Marketing Manager to join their busy team. This person will be a key member of the formats and international production marketing team in pre-and post-sales efforts. They will support the Senior Marketing Manager in the creation of marketing materials and branding initiatives, to ensure the successful rollout and sale of formats and local productions.
Key Responsibilities include:
• Creation of sales materials for formats and local productions: including writing pitch presentations, synopsis, sales sheets, managing video material and sizzles.
• Work with Research to ensure ratings for show launches and season summaries are provided in a timely manner and fed into presentations.
• Create e-blasts to promote show premieres and international launches.
• Manage the design and production of advertising for print and online trade publications.
• Manage SPT's presence on b2b sites and screening suites.
• Create bespoke presentations for sales executives for pitch meetings.
• Ensure artwork and promos are supplied in time to meet deadlines for key markets (Mipcom, LA Screenings, etc) liaising with international marketing colleagues.
• Manage EPK & photo shoots as necessary
• Research and source premium items for events or markets.
• Collect relevant marketing assets for each title and ensure they are correctly labeled and uploaded to all digital asset management systems – EAGL, B2B, website landing page, screening room, touchscreen, etc.
• Ensure the format/local production files, databases and libraries are kept up to date including the Broadcast Schedule.
• Assist in the collection of worldwide show launch strategies for key international shows. Track marketing activity and contact local PR and marketing teams for information and decks.
• Update and maintain digital & print catalogues.
• Assist in the organization of events and screenings.
• Assist in the entry process for international awards and maintain records.
• General administrative and marketing duties as required.
• Attend regular London based production update meetings.
Qualifications
and/or Experience Required
• Typically 3-4 years of television marketing experience.
• Has a solid understanding of the production process and formats sales business.
• Excellent writing skills with first class attention to detail.
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Powerpoint, Excel and Word.
• Photoshop, In-Design skills are desirable.
• Strong interpersonal skills to maintain sound working relationships.
• Brand management experience desirable.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Exceptionally organized.
• Self-motivated team player and facilitator.
• Ability to coordinate and juggle projects in a dynamic/changing environment. and seeing those projects through to completion.
• Other languages are beneficial.
• Bachelor's degree in related discipline or equivalent experience.
