Manager, Title Management
Sony Pictures Entertainment's Distribution Content Services group is responsible for post-receipt, Mastering, Localization and Fulfilment of all Distribution, including Theatrical for the studio. As part of these responsibilities, Title Managers play a crucial role within Home Entertainment Client Services.
The Home Entertainment Client Services team enables the growth of Sony Pictures digital content distribution through leadership and enhancement of the Digital Supply Chain, ensuring on-time and high-quality content deliveries, as well as the accurate execution of strategic initiatives via flexible and scalable processes. The Title Manager will be responsible for managing day-to-day digital supply chain fulfillment and project management operations for global TVOD business needs driven by Home Office.
This team is the leader in driving operational strategy and execution to meet SPE's current and future goals for major studio initiatives such as, the Catalog Growth Initiative (CGI) and the Digital Acceleration Project (DAP):
• CGI is a studio wide initiative to drive catalog revenue across LOB's, including Home Entertainment.
• DAP – Digital Acceleration Project: Home Ent./TVOD specific driving revenue globally with Sony's catalog across top partners, esp. Amazon Prime Video
Core Responsibilities:
Project Management to Drive Catalog Growth Initiative (CGI)/ Digital Acceleration Project (DAP):
Provide technical project management support for the creation, fulfillment, and distribution of SPE's catalog home entertainment products across all Digital TVOD and BD/DVD retailers.
Digital Global Partner Fulfillment Management:
Leading Home Ent fulfillment efforts for global digital partners (Apple, Amazon and Google) to maintain best practices and timely delivery of assets to ensure that Digital titles are released on time within Global partner storefronts in order to meet DAP business goals.
Home Entertainment New Release Management (DAP Goals/Premium and Early Windows):
Drive critical path delivery timelines to ensure timely creation and delivery of dubbing, subtitling, feature, and other key components for all Home Entertainment new release product lines. Accountable for working with relevant teams on research of all material types– for fulfillment, rejections etc. Pertains to all asset types required for delivery/storefront: Core media, components including subs/dubs, artwork, metadata, etc.
Home Entertainment Client Services: Cross Functional Leadership
Facilitate and partner across multiple DCS stakeholders + a multitude of Home Entertainment stakeholders which includes: Global Brand Marketing, Creative Services, Programming, Lega, Global Supply Chain Operations and others (e.g., I.T.) in managing critical path timelines to ensure the successful execution Home Entertainment of product releases for Digital TVOD Catalog initiatives.
Vendor Management and Performance Optimization:
Responsible for managing multiple vendors which service TVOD Digital partners. Creates POs and reviews corresponding invoices received from vendors. Tracks vendor delivery performance metrics and ensures continuous process improvement initiatives to maximize production output while minimizing errors, file rejections and production costs.
Experience:
5 to 8 years of video and audio post-production related experience. Preferably 5+ years of project/account management.
