Manager, New Digital Distribution – Sony Pictures Television (SPT)
Job Description:
The Manager, New Digital Distribution will manage the execution and activation of digital distribution deals with new and existing global clients, focusing on new technologies. This role will involve working closely with internal teams (sales, marketing, operations) and external clients to ensure the success of these partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:
• Project Management (30%):
- Oversee end-to-end partnership management, from defining program offers to activation.
- Coordinate go-to-market requirements, including product roadmaps, marketing initiatives, and program deliverables.
- Source and manage marketing assets and approvals.
• Client Relationships (25%):
- Manage strong relationships with global clients and partners.
• Sony Relationships (5%):
- Foster relationships across various Sony divisions (Sales, Legal, Finance, Digital Operations, etc.).
• New Account Development (10%):
- Support the VP on new global accounts and go-to-market activation for complex new and non-traditional accounts.
• New Product Development (15%):
- Collaborate with teams to develop new products and services for content delivery, provide insights on user experience (UX) and interface design (UI), and optimize workflows.
• Budget Management (5%):
- Track and manage deal costs and provide regular financial reporting against partnerships.
• Strategy (10%):
- Support the development of new business pitch materials and strategies by reviewing performance data and competitor programs.
Requirements:
• 4-5+ years of experience in media sales, project management, or marketing.
• Experience in content distribution across new media platforms (EST, VOD, SVOD).
• Proven ability to deliver partner-driven B2B or B2C technology or marketing initiatives.
• Strong organizational skills with an entrepreneurial mindset, attention to detail, and multi-tasking abilities.
• Strong communication skills and experience managing multiple workstreams and stakeholders.
• Knowledge of home entertainment, media technologies, and intellectual property.
• Ability to work with international teams across different time zones.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Ability to travel domestically.
Compensation:
• The anticipated base salary for this position is $91,058 to $118,000.
• This role may also qualify for annual incentives and/or comprehensive benefits.
