IT Business Analysis Trainee, CORP - Summer/Fall 2023

This Summer/Fall Trainee position is from May/June through December 15th and all candidates must be able to work 40 hours a week, Monday through Friday in the specified location. This is not a remote role. A hybrid work option may or may not be available.
DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION:
Corporate IT's Business Relationship Management team supports the Intellectual Property Management & General Counsel teams which focuses on the Music Affairs and Script Clearance businesses. This includes programming and development, business and legal affairs, casting, music creative and business affairs and script clearance for Motion Pictures and Television productions. We are searching for a Trainee to support the business analysis-type tasks.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Create/update business process workflows
• Communicate with business users to collect, review and analyze functional requirements
• Work with programmers to describe business needs
• Test system functionality to ensure it meets specifications
• Prepare status reports
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Able to work full-time hours, Monday through Frida
• Bachelor's or higher degree in Science, Math or Engineering
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Works well in a team and individually
• Strong attention to detail
• Solid interpersonal skills
• Ability to juggle multiple priorities
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Demonstrated interest in Information Technology
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Knowledge of working in an agile environment
