Director, Global Marketing Partnerships
The Worldwide Marketing Partnerships team is responsible for securing and activating best-in-class marketing partnerships reinforcing the studio's marketing strategy and extending the reach of its film marketing campaigns. The team works with the some of the largest and most powerful global brands (including McDonald's, Pepsico, Mondelez, Kellogg's, Audi, Diageo and more) to create memorable marketing campaigns that drive awareness, interest for the studio's feature film slate and box office sales. The Director, Global Marketing Partnerships, specializes in activating Global partnerships by liaising with partners and home and local offices to ensure that deals are maximized and that creative execution is of the highest level.
Responsibilities:
• Execute Global Marketing Partnerships:
• Serve as key point of contact for partner, studio marketing departments and local offices as it relates to the development of all Global Marketing Partnership Campaigns
• Oversee partnership execution of global deals including packaging, POS, content, television, digital and print
• Servicing artwork to approved partners
• Overseeing day-to-day processing of creative submissions, proactively enforcing meaningful integration of film IP
• Problem solving creative challenges
• Communicating directly with home and international offices to ensure the campaign is seamlessly executed in all territories around the world
• Liaising directly with rights holders to secure their approval on deals and creative, where necessary
• Oversee the creation and maintenance of department reports, including status reports, wrap reports, filmmaker updates, etc.:
• Proactively determining the best format to present updates and information from all international offices ensuring that Management has a clear picture of all partnership activity
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree required
• Experience: 7 years; at least 3 in the entertainment industry
• Strong computer skills (Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Adobe, Photoshop)
• Excellent communication skills – written and oral (must have a professional and courteous demeanor and be able to communicate persuasively and clearly)
• Must have international marketing experience
