Digital Marketing Manager - Mel Robbins Show
The Mel Robbins Show is looking for a Digital Marketing Manager to join our team. We need an exemplary individual: an experienced manager with a track record of developing successful digital strategies and creating share-worthy content.
The Digital Marketing Manager is responsible for capturing all editorial content on set and uploading to social pages as directed by Digital Executive Producer. This includes BTS, original content, Facebook Live, IG Stories, social promos, and custom affiliate requests. They will work closely with Director of Digital
Strategy and Editorial, affiliate marketing and PR, talent, producers, digital editor, and copywriter to ensure all digital content is captured and distributed. This position requires someone who can think on their feet and take direction from producers and talent and have a strong POV. The Digital Marketing Manager will have day-to-day supervision from the Digital Executive Producer and will report into the Director, Digital Strategy & Editorial.
This position will be based in NYC and cannot be remote.
Essential Functions:
• Distribute, manage, and curate all digital content for The Mel Robbins Show social pages and website:
• Show clips for all platforms
• BTS
• Facebook Live/Watch
• Topical Memes
• UGC
• Collaborate with the affiliate marketing and PR team on a daily basis
• Manage the Digital Editor in order to create innovative promo and organic content
• Ensure geo-posting needs are met for local stations
• Manage and maintain content calendar for all social handles alongside Director
• Provide weekly updates on content strategy plan to Digital EP and Director
• Brainstorm new creative content ideas on an ongoing basis and adapt on set as needed
• Ensure all ad sales elements are prioritized on pages.
• Coordinate with SPT Ad Sales
Qualifications:
• A bachelor's degree in communications, digital media, production, or a related field
• 3-5 years of digital, journalism, or media experience
• A deep understanding of digital content, with an appreciation for broadcast practices
• Experience on a television or film set
• A self-starter who can change and adapt as creative ideas come up
• Solid working knowledge of trends in digital publishing
• Understanding of Adobe Suite programs (Premiere, After Effects) is a plus
• Excellent verbal and written skills
