Creative Coordinator - Octonauts - Silvergate Media
Project support for Creative Producers and Production Team on a recognized children's media brand.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
WRITING AND RECORDS
• Traffic all script submissions internally and externally as directed
• Prep notes for script meetings and edit notes during/after meetings
• Update files and trackers for production and creative teams
• Responsible for the delivery of record draft scripts and other materials to record studio in accordance with the schedule
• Responsible for the management and delivery of recorded materials to animation studio in accordance with the schedule
• Responsible for tracking and managing all pickups/ADR through records and delivery to animation studio
ANIMATION PRODUCTION
• Assist the Production Manager to draft agendas for external and internal meetings, as needed
• Responsible for taking, maintaining and distributing note documents for all appropriate internal and external facing meetings
• Responsible for organizing and delivering visual references and asset breakdown for episode launch and to update breakdowns and reference materials as needed
• Responsible for assisting the Series Producer with the management of series tasks with the oversight of the Production Manager as needed
GENERAL ADMINISTRATIVE DUTIES
• Responsible for all for delivery uploads & downloads, tracker updating, and file maintenance
• Establish and update team calendars directed
• Coordinate logistics and schedule meetings for the team
• Coordinate logistics and schedule travel, meals and expense reports for team
• Help to maintain project distribution and approvals documents and project contact lists
• Assist in managing requests and assets for the marketing team
REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent work experience
• 1-3 years of prior experience entertainment or related field
• Proficient with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Photoshop
• Proficiency in Premiere, Final Draft and/or After Effects a plus
• Familiarity with animation pipelines a plus
• Prior experience in television production a plus
• Additional Language skills a plus
SKILLS
• Excellent communication skills (written, oral, and interpersonal)
• Excellent time management and organizational skills with an ability to multitask and prioritize in busy production office
• Strong computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Problem-solving, proactive thinker
• Ability to work independently
• Sensitive to confidentiality
• Must be a detail-oriented and a service-oriented individual
• Administrative experience in a production/creative environment a plus.
• Passionate about children's television
