COORDINATOR, GLOBAL TALENT ACQUISITION

Sony Pictures Entertainment (SPE) has an immediate opening for a dynamic Coordinator, Global Talent Acquisition. Position will work closely to support our Talent Acquisition team by facilitating the interview scheduling process, inclusive of initial contact with candidate to determine availability and coordination of phone and on-site interviews. Provide resolution to scheduling conflicts and ensure that candidates have a positive experience. The Coordinator will also assist in building talent pipelines utilizing key sourcing strategies. The selected candidate will have a desire to learn the entertainment / media business and have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. This role reports into the Manager, Global Talent Acquisition.
Responsibilities:
• Scheduling process to include coordination of phone, video and on-site interviews working with the Recruiters, Hiring Managers and candidates
• Preparation of candidate interviews, sending confirmations, and providing timely communication to the Recruiters, Hiring Managers and candidates
• Provide a high level of customer service and ensuring a positive experience
• Schedule candidate travel arrangements ensuring a seamless travel experience
• Source active and passive candidates via applicant tracking system (ATS), LinkedIn, referrals, networking, internet searches, etc.
• Assist with new hire onboarding process when necessary by initiating background checks, managing all communication and approvals with all parties needed, and confirming new hire orientation.
• Maintain timely and accurate data in the applicant tracking system
• Provide support to the Talent Acquisition team with special projects as needed
• Front reception coverage as needed
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• 1-2 years of intensive scheduling / calendaring experience
• Prefer exposure to Human Resources / Talent Acquisition
• Proficient in all MS Office Suite Products in Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Working knowledge of LinkedIn, ATS tools (Workday) and Montage is highly desirable
• Professional with excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize competing priorities
• Extremely organized, detail oriented, and a fast learner
• Excellent work ethic and strong sense of urgency
• Ability to maintain sensitive/confidential information
• Strong time-management and process management skills necessary to maintain workload
• Tolerance of ambiguity and ability to demonstrate flexibility and judgement under pressure
• Commitment to excellent customer service
• Confident in interacting with all levels in the organization
